Abstract
Analytical expressions for the minimum-variance phase reconstructor fo r Hartmann sensors with circular subpupils are presented in this work. The approach assumes a wavefront expansion in terms of orthogonal Zer nike polynomials, and takes advantage of the a priori knowlegde of the phase correlation function associated to phase distortions produced b y atmospheric turbulence with Kolmogorov statistics.
