Abstract
This paper presents an efficient numerical method for designing PI con trollers. The design is based on optimization of load disturbance reje ction with constraints on sensitivity and weighting of set point respo nse. Thus, the formulation of the design problem captures three essent ial aspects of industrial control problems, leading to a non-convex op timization problem.
