Abstract
Several simple ways are suggested for reducing convective heat losses associated with tilting a Pulse Tube Refrigerator thereby minimising l oss of cooling power. These include the use of one or more longitudina l baffles, and changing the cross section of the pulse tube from circu lar to elliptical. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
