Abstract
Thermolysis of Ru-3(mu(3)-PhC2C equivalent to CPh)(mu-CO)(CO)(9) resul ts in dimerisation, with concomitant internal cyclisation of the 1,3-d iyne ligands to two methyleneindyne molecules which are attached in et a(2) and eta(4) modes to a novel Ru-6 cluster core.
