Abstract
Recent research and development on high-strain-rate superplasticity ha s led to the concept of an accommodation helper mechanism and a new op portunity for superplastic forging. In this article, works about proce ssing for ultrafine-grained materials and deformation mechanisms and h igh-strain-rate superplasticity applications are reviewed.
