Interactions of micromycetes and biotic (including planctonic algae, b
acteria, and animals) and abiotic (such as temperature, conductivity;
pH, Eh, total nitrate, total phosphorus, dissolved oxygen, NO2, NO3, N
H4, PO4) components of the Kujbishev reservoir of Volga river system w
ere investigated. Multiple regression analysis showed significant corr
elation between the total number of micromycetes and planctonic bacter
ia and animals as well as some physical-chemical properties of water s
uch as temperature and conductivity.
