It is shown that if the contribution of the negative energy sea is tal
;en into account a good saturation curve and a good result of in compr
essibility K-v(-1) can be obtained in the relativistic sigma-omega Mod
el. The divergent integrals are dealt with by the form factor regulari
zation scheme. The effect of the contact interaction caused by the ome
ga-meson is investigated in some detail. The average residual number o
f mesons per nucleon in the nuclear ground state is also calculated.
