Specifications for a modified Couette cell constant-stress rheometer w hich can measure simultaneously the viscometric properties and neutron -scattered intensities are reported. Representative plots demonstratin g simultaneous measurements of the viscosity and the anisotropic scatt ering patterns as a function of shear stress and shear rate are displa yed from a 1.0% by weight (0.03 M) solution of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and sodium salicylate in D2O.
