The fluxon structure in a layered superconductor under an applied para
llel constant magnetic field is examined within the model of stacked J
osephson junctions. The interlayer phase difference phi(n,n+1) which i
s found as a solution of the system of nonlinear equations, correspond
s to buckled chains of fluxons, alternating with the field strength. T
he calculated phi(n,n+1) is then used to obtain the spectrum of vortex
and plasma small oscillations that has a fine band structure showing
gaps.
