INTRODUCING LIGHT VECTOR AND AXIAL-VECTOR MESONS IN THE UNION OF CHIRAL AND HEAVY-QUARK SYMMETRIES

We introduce light vector and axial vector mesons as gauge particles i n a (broken) local SUL(3)XSU(R)(3) symmetry. We also introduce a heavy axial vector meson and the interactions that combine chiral and heavy quark symmetries. Defining the weak current with appropriate chiral t ransformation properties we calculate the form factors in D-->K, D-->K , and D-->K-1A transitions. The results are in agreement with data, w herever data are available.
