Abstract
We have analyzed the implications of the energy of anisotropy of a fer romagnetic sphere suspended in a carrier fluid in its dynamics. The ro tational viscosity, which for a particular geometry represents the inc rease of the viscosity of the system due to the presence of an externa l magnetic field, has been calculated as a function of the anisotropy parameter. Our results are compared with others obtained by different approaches.
