Abstract
Computer simulations of cluster growth have been performed using an ex tended version of the Eden model. The scaling exponents for the surfac e width depend on the value of a parameter q which determines the exte nt of cluster relaxation. This model has a particular relevance to the growth of bacterial colonies in nutrient-rich environments.
