Abstract
The electroreduction of a solution in N,N-dimethylformamide of an aryl alkene and either an alkyl bromide or an alkane-alpha,omega-diyl dibro mide in the presence of a sacrificial aluminium anode affords a monoal kylated or cyclic product, respectively.
