Using the constitutive equation given by Gao (1990) for rubber-like ma
terials this paper investigates the stress strain distribution and the
deformation pattern near a wedge tip (or a notch corner) under the te
nsion of a Line-load. The problem was treated as plane strain case. Th
e infinite strain is taken into account and the analytical solution is
presented.
