Abstract
Cyclic voltammograms and chronocoulometry were measured for soluble co balt phthalocyanine derivatives and cobalt anthraquinocyanine which ha d been previously synthesized, in order to examine their electron tran sfer abilities and electrochemical mechanism in an organic solvent. El ectron transfer properties were shown to be similar except for the cob alt phthalocyanine octacarboxylic acid. Electrode processes were diffu sion controlled at almost one electron transfer involving some weak ad sorption and having the following chemical reaction, except for the co balt phthalocyanine octacarboxylic acid.
