Algorithms for parton shower models are examined for singlet partons i
n deep inelastic scattering. We compare two different types of models:
(i) based on evolution of particle number distributions as convention
ally used in Monte-Carlo event generators, (ii) based on evolution of
momentum distributions which has not been studied in the practical eve
nt generators. Features of these two models are qualitatively studied
in order to understand the properties of these models.
