This study assesses the techno-economic potential of selected demand-s
ide efficient appliances to mitigate CO2 emission from the power secto
r in Thailand under national, consumer, and utility perspectives. A ke
y finding of this study is that about 5.5-7% of the total annual CO2 e
mission from the electricity sector of the country can be reduced duri
ng 1996-2011 from the national perspective.
