Abstract
1,4-Oxathianes have been prepared in five steps from camphor and used to give stilbene oxides in excellent yield (81-100%) and with moderate enantioselectivity (54-64% ee). (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All ri ghts reserved.
