Abstract
Purpose: To describe the neuro-ophthalmologic complications of sinus s urgery. Methods: The charts of seven patients who suffered visual loss and/or diplopia following sinus surgery were retrospectively reviewed . Results: Clinical findings included orbital hematoma, orbital foreig n body, extra-ocular muscle dysfunction, optic neuropathy, and a chias mal hematoma. Conclusions: Sinus surgery may result in significant neu ro-ophthalmologic complications.
