THE DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF FRESNEL LENS W ITH A SPECIAL PROFILE

This paper pointed out that, for the design of continuous phase Fresne l lens, it helps to reduce control difficulty of the fabricated profil e to replace the more complex quadratic profile with simpler linear on e. The difference between such two kinds of profile was analyzed in de tails. By computer simulation, it was found that the optics transferri ng function (OTF) and the point spread function (SPF) of the linear pr ofile lens are very close to the ideal ones,which provides the theoret ical demonstration. At last, the further improving approach was pointe d out.
