Abstract
The optical response in single-crystal films of La0.67Ca0.33MnOdelta o f manganese oxides with perovskite structure was reported. The respons e follows the bolometric mode fairly well. This new kind of bolometers has high absorption coefficients over a broad wavelength range. By ad justing the doping composition or oxygen stoichiometry, one can tailor the desired operating temperature. The noise properties in LCMO films were also reported.
