Abstract
The ground state X-1 Sigma(+) of the diatomic molecule KLi has been st udied by analyzing spectra of the B-1 Pi-X-1 Sigma(+) system, simplifi ed by polarization labeling. Rotational and vibrational constants are reported for the X-1 Sigma(+) state covering about 45% of its potentia l well depth and the potential curve is constructed by the Rydberg-Kle in-Rees (RKR) procedure. Comparison with previous experimental and the oretical work is made. (C) 1998 Academic Press.
