Abstract
The authors review the literature concerning the treatment of ricketts ioses including Rocky Mountain spotted fever, Mediterranean spotted fe ver, murine typhus, and Scrub typhus. They report in vitro antibiotic susceptibilities of the causing organisms and in vivo activity on anim al models. They also report their clinical experience and these of the literature in the treatment of rickettsioses.
