This paper describes the development of the PEM-2, a general-purpose,
transportable gas analyzer intended for monitoring harmful emissions o
f CO, CO2, NOx, SO2, and O-2. The PEM-2 is a continuous-action device
and can be used in systems for monitoring technological processes, the
environment, and harmful emissions of industrial concerns. The paper
also presents the results of industrial trials of the gas analyzer at
the Novosibirsk Central Heating and Power Station TETs-2. (C) 1998 The
