Abstract
Two dihydrophenanthropyrans, shanciol E and F, and two bibenzyls, bulb ocodin C and D, were isolated from tubers of Pleione bulbocodioides. T he new structures were elucidated to be xyphenyl)-2,3,5,6-tetrahydro-4 H-phenoanthro[2,1-b] pyran-8-ol; oxyphenyl)-3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2H-pehn anthro[2,1-b] pyran-8-ol; hydroxy-3-methoxy-2,4-di(p-hydroxybenzyl)bib enzyl; ihydroxy-5-methoxy-2,4-di(p-hydroxybenzyl)bibenzyl benzyl; resp ectively, on the basis of spectroscopic data and chemical correlations .
