Abstract
A new phenylpropanoid glycoside, lpha-L-rhamno-pyranosyl-3'-O-beta-D-a piofuranosyl- 4'-O-E-caffeoyl)-beta-D-glucopyranoside, verbascoside, a nd two new flavone glucosides, nevadensin 7-O-beta-D-glucoside and nev adensin 7-O-[alpha-L-rhamnosyl(1 --> 6)]-beta-D-glucoside, have been i solated from the aerial parts of Lysionotus pauciflorus. The structure s have been elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data and chemical correlation. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
