Abstract
The new isoflavone, 7-hydroxy-6'-methoxy-3',4'-methylenediox 7-O-beta- glucoside (6'-methoxypseudobaptigenin 7-O-beta-glucoside) and two know n isoflavones, genistein 7-O-beta-glucoside (genistin) and daidzein 7- O-beta-glucoside (daidzin) have been isolated from the aerial parts of Retama sphaerocarpa and characterized by mp, VV, IR, FAB-MS and NMR d ata.
