Dynamic properties of compounds based on carbon black or precipitated
silica and SSBRs produced via batch solution polymerization have been
analyzed as a function of polymers structures and compared to countert
ypes from continuous polymerization. Dynamic spectra of such compounds
indicate a better wet grip/rolling resistance balance for batch polym
erized SSBRs. Tan delta values measured performing strain sweeps in sh
ear at a low frequency have been used as indicators for rolling resist
ance. E '' and G '' values obtained respectively in compression at a h
igh frequency and in shear from master curves have been used to predic
t wet grip.
