Ly. Glozman et al., THE D(E,E'P)DELTA PROCESS AS AN EXAMPLE OF QUARK-EXCHANGE CURRENTS INLEADING ORDER, Journal of physics. G, Nuclear and particle physics, 20(1), 1994, pp. 93-100
It is shown that the off-shell disintegration d --> Delta Delta amplit
ude is determined mainly by quark exchange. So the process d(e,e'p)Del
ta with E(p) being large, E(p) > 1 GeV, and Delta being practically at
rest is in leading order determined by the quark exchange currents. T
he cross section for this process is only two orders of magnitude less
than the cross section for the well known process d(e,e'p)n and could
thus, in principle, be measured.
