Abstract
By taking account of the finite-size effect rationally in the framewor k of the Hartree-Fock theory, saturation properties at zero-temperatur e and liquid-gas phase transitions in finite nuclear matter are invest igated with the Skyrme effective interaction and the Coulomb force. Th e critical temperature for the liquid-gas phase transition of finite n uclear matter is found to be around 12 MeV.
