Ak. Jana et al., EQUIVALENT LOCAL POTENTIALS AND PHASE APPROACH TO LOW-ENERGY SCATTERING PARAMETERS, Journal of physics. G, Nuclear and particle physics, 20(1), 1994, pp. 143-150
It is shown that the use of the McTavish-Kermode-Melhem-type equivalen
t local potentials linearizes algorithms of the variable-phase approac
h needed to compute the low-energy scattering parameters. A case study
is presented to demonstrate the merit of the linearized equations, wi
th particular emphasis on the relationship between the interpolating s
cattering length function and potential functions.
