A. Das et al., THE EFFECTS OF THE INTERFRAGMENT NUCLEAR-INTERACTION ON THE KINETIC-ENERGY SPECTRA IN THE MULTIFRAGMENTATION PROCESS, Journal of physics. G, Nuclear and particle physics, 20(1), 1994, pp. 189-196
The importance of the interfragment nuclear interaction for the mass a
nd isotopic yields and the kinetic energy spectra is shown. Ad hoc red
uction in the Coulomb energies of the emitted fragments, usually resor
ted to in the description of fragment kinetic energy spectra, is accou
nted for by the introduction of the interfragment nuclear interaction
in a statistical model. It is shown that the mass and isotopic yields
and the kinetic energy spectra can be described in a consistent manner
, using a single model with one temperature.
