The effects of both the constructions of metalloporphyrins and environ
ment factors such as reaction solvents, reaction temperature and react
ion time on the percentages of cyclohexanone in cyclohexane hydroxylat
ion with PhIO catalyzed by monometalloporphyrins or bismetalloporphyri
ns and the reaction kinetics were studied systematically. The cyclohex
anol oxidation with PhIO catalyzed by the metalloporphyrins was compar
ed with the cyclohexane oxidation. The mechanism of the ketone formati
on in the alkane hydroxylation with PhIO catalyzed by metalloporphyrin
s was supposed.
