Abstract
The direct differential method is described and applied to the sensiti vity analysis of the state, with respect to the inlet state and the de sign, material and operating parameters of chemical reactor. The react or behaviour is described by a quasihomogeneous bidimensional mathemat ical model. We refer to a chemical reactor for ethylbenzene dehydrogen ation.
