A NEW POLYMERIC ADDITIVE FOR ROAD-BITUMEN

For improving the road bitumen utilisation properties the influence of some indigenous additives was studied. A ternary-polymeric modificati on system, with a very good dispersion in the whole bitumen mass, and efficiency comparable with those of SBS block copolymer, widely used i n this field, was proposed. The new solution was tested with good resu lts in usage by covering kilometers of road in Romania in different cl imatic zones.
