Mj. Edwards, NMOS AND CMOS POLYSILICON DRIVE CIRCUITS FOR LIQUID-CRYSTAL DISPLAYS, IEE proceedings. Part G. Circuits, devices and systems, 141(1), 1994, pp. 50-55
A number of circuits that form the basic elements needed for integrati
on of the drive circuits for active matrix LC displays have been inves
tigated. The circuits have been fabricated using a low temperature pol
ysilicon process and measurements have been made of the circuit perfor
mance. NMOS and CMOS circuits have been compared and while ratioed NMO
S circuits have a poor performance in terms of speed and power, ratiol
ess NMOS and CMOS circuit can both provide high-speed low-power operat
ion.
