Abstract
Tuberculous pericarditis has decreased in incidence, but early diagnos is and treatment are critical because constrictive pericarditis is a s erious complication of this condition. The appearances of tuberculous pericarditis on gadolinium enhanced magnetic resonance imaging are des cribed and the value of this modality in achieving an early diagnosis is emphasized.
