Abstract
Stark broadening parameters of Al III lines of interest in the diagnos tics of an electrodynamic macroparticle accelerator (rail gun) arc pla sma created by evaporation of an Al foil have been calculated using th e semi-classical perturbation formalism. Stark widths of Cu IV lines o f interest for an arc plasma created by Cu foil evaporation have also been calculated by using the modified semi-empirical method.
