Abstract
We have performed reflectance measurements on the (001) surfaces of tw inned single crystals of NdBa2Cu3Ox. The oxygen concentration x was va ried between 6 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 7. The re sults were compared to former investigations on YBa2Cu3Ox. The differe nt dependence of the electronic transport properties on the oxygen con tent of both compounds can be explained by the different distributions of oxygen amongst the Cu-O chains.
