M. Mifune et al., FLOW-ANALYSIS OF HYDROGEN-PEROXIDE WITH A DYE-FORMATION REACTION CATALYZED BY AN ION-EXCHANGE RESIN MODIFIED WITH MN3-TETRAKIS(SULFOPHENYL)PORPHINE(), Analytical sciences, 14(3), 1998, pp. 519-522
The present flow analysis of hydrogen peroxide is based on a measureme
nt of the absorbance of quinoid-dye formed by a following reaction (1)
using an anion-exchange resin modified with manganese(III)-tetrakis(s
ulfophenyl)porphine (Mn-TSPPr), which catalyzes the reaction (1), just
like an immobilized peroxidase: 4-aminoantipyrine+4-chlorophenol+2H(2
)O(2) (Ma-TSPPr) under right arrow quinoid dye+4H(2)O [reaction (1)].
Mn-TSPPr is more advantageous than immobilized peroxidase in terms of
storage and stability for both temperature and moisture. The present f
acilitated method is satisfactory in reproducibility and sensitivity.
