Consideration is given to constructing a reference model for the adapt
ive identification-based system adjusting the parameters of control al
gorithms by different approaches. Qualitative conclusions about the dy
namics of the iterative process of parameter adjustment are drawn from
the results of analyzing the multisituation problem involving various
closed systems and reference models. Stability of the basic iterative
processes is analyzed.
