Abstract
High-performance liquid chromatography interfaced with thermospray mas s spectrometry is described for the identification of various flavonol glycosides from Ginkgo biloba, Calendula officinalis and Tilia cordat a. Thermospray ionization gave parent species with few and diagnostic fragment ions, thus allowing structure elucidation as well as discrimi nation between different glycosylation sites.
