Abstract
in the first article, we presented a review on the Cepheid PL relation as a tool for measuring distances, and showed the sensitivity of the method to metallicity. Accounting for it brings the recent differing e stimates of H-0 into agreement. (C) Academie des Sciences/Elsevier, Pa ris.
