The EPR spectra of VO2+ complexes in Cs5H3(SO4)(4) . H2O have been inv
estigated with the aim to study of SO42- ions and H2O molecules motion
s in the range (80-420) K. Results of EPR analyses presented, reveal g
radual water molecules ''freezing'' down to T-g = 260 K and an additio
nal SO42- unit freezing correlated to H2O. It is shown that correlated
interaction between SO42- ions and water molecules leads to glassy-li
ke freezing below T-g.
