Abstract
Relaxation of the hard wall electomagnetic assumptions commonly applie d to inhomogeneous microstrip circulators is carried out here by conve rting magnetic walls into interfacial walls. By viewing the source poi nt as a singularity on the device boundary contour and using mode-matc hing, a new dyadic Green's function is found. The new dyadic Green's f unction allows fields and s-parameters to be found dependent on the ex ternal material permittivity epsilon(d) and permeability mu(d).
