Abstract
The expression of surface lipophosphoglycan (LPG) and the lipophosphog lycan-associated kinetoplastid membrane protein (KMP)-11 was studied i n the strain AG83 of Leishmania donovani in axenic culture. The expres sion of LPG and KMP-11 decreased along with parasite virulence as a fu nction of the time of the subculture.
