continuity conditions on in-plane strains and curvatures. The stresse
s on one side of interfaces and near them in multi-constituent structu
res are readily computed using these conditions-formulae and not solvi
ng the full problem, if the stresses on the other side have been compu
ted having solved the full, problem.
