Abstract
A diploid, Mendelian population is considered in which m alleles at a single autosomal locus uniquely determine the phenotype of each indivi dual. In the population, a game-theoretical conflict is supposed. If t he genetic system is able to uniquely realize the phenotypic evolution arily stable strategy (ESS) state, then the sexual population will evo lve to this ESS.
