Abstract
The energy spectrum of scattered electrons in K-shell ionization of me dium to heavy atoms by relativistic electrons has been calculated for certain kinematic conditions. In this calculation the final state is d escribed by a non-relativistic multiple-scattering wavefunction of Das and Seat multiplied by suitable spinors. Very satisfactory agreement with experiment is obtained.
