Abstract
The switching-on chronopotentiometric oscillography of electrodeposite d and metallurgical chromium, graphite, copper, and nickel electrodes in a common chrome-plating electrolyte, gave a base for calculating th e thickness of a solid-phase surface oxide, the cathodic reduction of which activates the electrode and allows chromium metal to be cathodic ally deposited.
